Atlanta Motorsports Park is a private motorsport club, in North Georgia. MaybeForYou was originally approached by the organization to help refine their digital strategy and redesign their website.

I began by conducting a series of interviews with the Atlanta Motorsports Park’s CEO, Jeremy Porter, and his executive team. Everyone agreed that the website needed to be updated to perform better on mobile devices, restructured so that information was easier to find, and social media needed to be better used to drive people back to the website. All of this needed to be managed by their internal marketing team, in a platform they were familiar with -- WordPress.

Once the goals were defined, I audited their existing content to get an idea of possible sections the new website could be broken into. Working with the team, we came up an improved sitemap for how the website would be organized.

From there, I put together a series of wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes that allowed us to test the flow of interacting with and accessing information on the site.

Once the structure of the website was defined, I put together design comps for each of the main templates on the site. As the comps were approved, they were developed into responsive templates and integrate into the WordPress CMS.

The results were overwhelmingly positive. AMP has seen record traffic increases, lower bounce rates, and longer times spent on pages in the site. These results have translated into bottom line improvements: membership at AMP has grown to near capacity, and events book up in record time.
